Nolatek offers a wide variety of pre-owned and refurbished analyzer units from Agilent, Tektronix, Fluke, Lecroy, and more. Here are some types of analyzer units we offer:
1) A frequency analyzer is an electrical test instrument used to analyze the properties of radio frequency (RF) electrical networks, filters, transmission lines, signal sources and general properties associated with the reflection and transmission of electrical signals. Analyzers are basically classified as scalar or vector network configurations. Electrical test analyzers are associated with frequency and time domains.
2) Impedance analyzers
Many electrical properties of networks and/or components may be expressed using a Network Analyzer. S-Parameters are often used to express a wide range of conclusions regarding gain, return loss, voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR), reflection coefficient and amplifier stability. Impedance Analyzers are one of the most common electrical test instruments used to evaluate the condition of these parameters.
3) Network analyzer
A Network Analyzer is an electrical test instrument used to analyze the properties of electrical networks, associated with the transmission and reflection of electrical signals. An analog spectrum analyzer uses either a variable band pass filter whose mid-frequency is tuned through a range of frequencies to be measured. Digital spectrum analyzers compute the Fast Fourier transform (FFT), a mathematical process that transforms a waveform into the components of its frequency spectrum. Network / Spectrum Analyzers <10GHz are the most popular category. The two main categories of Network Analyzer < 10GHz are: * Scalar Network Analyzer (SNA) - Measures amplitude properties only * Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) - Measures both amplitude and phase properties There are analog and digital spectrum analyzers.

There are a wide range of Spectrum / Network Analyzer Accessories that are associated with these instruments. Some are internal to the instrument and others are external components. Network / Spectrum Analyzers and Accessories also include a wide range of optional and external active and passive components such as directional couplers, bridges, cables, down-converters, amplifiers, attenuators, terminations, and other unique test fixtures. Contact Nolatek today regarding our spectrum analyzer rentals.
4)Spectrum Analyzers
As we move above 1GHz, Spectrum Analyzers 1GHz - 3GHz become more specific in application and nature. Scalar Analyzers are generally analog by nature but are more focused on measuring a range of frequencies in a swept time domain. Applications will include signals within a pass-band, interference analysis, amplitude, deviation, spectral purity, stability and phase. We have a wide selection of spectrum and communication analyzer units available in our inventory, contact us today for specifics.
5)Vector Signal Analyzers combine conventional RF analysis with the advanced demodulation and troubleshooting capabilities you need to reach deeper into your signal. A vector Signal Communication Analyzer is well suited for base station and mobile handset manufacturing, with additional applications for design and development of wireless equipment. Demodulation options are available for current and most emerging communication applications: WiMAX, WLAN-HT (single channel), 3G, and more.
6)PNA Analyzer: The PNA Analyzer Series builds on Agilent’s 40-year legacy of excellence to deliver new standards in speed, accuracy, and versatility for microwave network analysis. The PNA’s architecture includes high quality, stable hardware and flexible software. The PNA Analyzer Series consists of three families: PNA, PNA-L and PNA-X.
