Carrier noise test set, 5 MHz to 18 GHz

  • The HP 11729C Carrier Noise Test Set is an integral part of a phase noise measurement system. The HP 11729C can perform the following operations up converts an external (or internal) reference signal, down converts the signal under test to an intermediate frequency (IF). The phase demodulates phase noise of the test signal using the Phase Detector Method; frequency demodulates the phase noise of the test signal using the Frequency Discriminator Method.
